As the name suggests, it is a shopping festival in Mumbai and its surrounding areas. This is a one of its kind event that is been taking place for the first time in Mumbai. It is not just to shop or to buy apparels but to make Mumbai as one of the major shopping destination. People will find lots of variety in a single stop at a discounted rate. There are many things to know about this festival. This article highlights all the key events included in the Mumbai Shopping Festival.

About Mumbai Shopping Festival

This event (Mumbai Shopping Festival) will take place in MMRDA regions named Vasai-Virar, Western Suburbs, South Mumbai, Thane, and Navi-Mumbai. This is a 20 days Shopping Festival from 12th Jan to 31st Jan. This event will activate the entire city.

Participation Process

The participation process is very simple. The shoppers don’t need to register themselves anywhere. The shoppers just have to purchase a minimum of Rs. 500 from any of the registered MSF(Mumbai Shopping Festival) outlet and SMS <MSF> <invoice Number> <Shop Name Location> <Amount> <Answer to the Question> to 56263

This will open a chance by the shopper to win some exciting prizes through lucky Draws carried out in a regular interval within that stipulated time.

The winner will be selected using a Computerized Random Draw system.


Category of Prizes

There are 3 categories which are Bumper Prize, Weekly Prize, Daily Prize. The prizes will include A Dream House in Mumbai (Optional), Luxury Cars, Gold or other ornaments, 100% cashback, Holiday Packages, Appliances, Gadgets and many more.

The retailers have to register for the Festival.

Work at the Call Center(Backend)

SMS data gets collected at the Call Center where Daily, Weekly Winners will be declared using a randomizer. After the winner is selected, they will be called for verifying their details. After the details is verified, the prize will be couriered or asked to be collected.


Registration Fee

Registration fees for Retailer Shop is Rs. 5000 Excluding the taxes and for Real Estate is Rs. 1,00,000 also excluding the taxes.

LED Screens across the town, Auto Rickshaw Branding, Toll Naka hoardings, Bus Shelter, Mumbai Metro Branding, Local Trains Branding, Hoardings at various local hangout places and other such installations will be arranged for branding.
