You only require a bread, butter, garlic and if you want then some Cheese.

It tastes much better than the garlic bread that can be brought in shops or cafes. You can use a frying pan or an oven to bake garlic bread.

You can add a lot of cheese in your bread to make a cheese garlic bread recipe. Whether you make normal garlic bread or cheesy garlic bread, you won’t take much time to prepare.

Ingredients for Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients Measurements (1 CUP = 250 ML)
White Bread 8 to 10 Slices
Garlic (Chopped or Grated) 8 to 10 Medium Size
Butter 10 Tbsp or (250 Grams)
Oregano Seasoning According to your Requirement
Red Chilli Flakes According to your Requirement
Black Pepper Powder (Optional) According to your Requirement
Salt (If using unsalted butter) According to your Requirement

Steps to make Homemade Garlic Bread Recipe

How to prepare the Garlic Butter Spread

Step 1: Take a small bowl.

Step 2: Add 250 grams of butter in it. Let it rest in room temperature for a half-hour.

Step 3: Now, take 20 medium-sized garlic.

Step 4: Chop all the garlic cloves thinly.

Step 5: Mix it with the butter.

Step 6: Stir well.

How to Make Garlic Bread

Step 1: Take a frying pan.

Step 2: Heat it on a high flame.

Step 3: Lower the flame when the pan is hot.

Step 4: Take 1 slice of bread on a plate.

Step 5: Apply some garlic butter on one side of it.

Step 6: Top it with chili flakes and oregano seasoning. You can also add pepper powder if you want. Adding Pepper powder is an optional step though.

Step 7: Now, take 1 tsp of butter and add it in the pan.

Step 8: Place the garlic butter topped bread slice in it.

Step 9: On a low flame, cook it until the butter melts and the base turns slightly crispy.

Voila!! Your Garlic Bread is ready.

Tips for a perfect Garlic Bread Recipe

  1. If you want, you can also add some chopped Coriander Leaves(Shania Patta).
  2. You can add mozzarella cheese on top to make Cheese Garlic Bread.
  3. You can also make in a Microwave oven if you want. Instead of Pan, add the bread slices in a Microwave Oven. Just wrap the bread slice inside the silver foil.
  4. If using a microwave oven, then you can also take 2 slices at once. After adding Garlic butter spread on 2 slices of bread, top it with mozzarella cheese and stick it together (Butter spread sides facing towards each other). Cover it in a foil and cook it for 5 to 6 minutes.
  5. Preheat the Oven for 5 MInutes on 200 Degree Celsius.
  6. You can also use no sliced bread. Cut 1-inch slices at home and use it to make Garlic Bread
