Plum Cake Recipe | Traditional Plum Cake (Eggless)

To make this an healthy eggless plum cake recipe, you would need,

  • Whole Wheat Flour
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Cashew Nuts
  • Plums
  • Cinnamon Powder
  • Milk
  • Nutmeg Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Baking Powder
  • Melted Butter
  • Powdered Sugar

– First grease your baking pan with oil or butter. And preheat your microwave to 180 degrees Celsius.

– Take a large bowl, sieve all the dry ingredients like the All-Purpose flour, nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder, and baking powder. Now, add melted butter to the flour and mix well.

– After mixing them properly, add the powdered sugar, and mix them properly. Now, add finely chopped plums and cashew nuts to the mixture. Mix them properly together.

– In a separate bowl, add ½ cup milk and 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar. Don’t mix them at all or the milk would then start curdling. Add ½ Tsp Baking soda and stir it properly. This mixture will now froth and bubble.

– Add this mixture quickly to the batter along with the vanilla essence. Mix them quickly.

– Now, pour this batter in the greased baking pan and bake it in 180-degree celsius for 30 to 45 minutes.

– When the cake is cooked, the top side will be browned in colour and it will have a natural glaze. Your eggless plum cake recipe is ready to be served.

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Cashew Nuts
  • 4-6 Plums (Chopped)
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ¼ pinch Nutmeg Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • cup Melted Butter (167 ML)
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Notes

  • You can use soy milk instead of normal milk.
  • Use more dry fruits like dates, raisins, almonds, etc.
  • You can adjust the powdered sugar according to your sweetness.
  • You can also use white Vinegar instead of Apple Cider Vinegar.
  • You can also add tutti frutti with the dry fruits.
