CMAT 2019: CMAT exam (Common Management Admission Test) is a national level management examination. Until 2018, the CMAT Examination was conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) which will now be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2019.

CMAT is an entrance ticket for all the candidates seeking admissions in various MBA and PGDM programmes in colleges across India. Official CMAT score card will be accepted by AICTE recognized colleges all over India. CMAT 2019 Exam will be held on 28th January 2019 (Monday)

CMAT 2019 Exam Dates

These are the tentative exam dates based on previous years exam schedule.

Admit Card Release: 7th January 2019



Registration Starts 1st November 2018 (10:00 AM)
Last date for registration 30th November  2018 (05:00 PM)
Release Admit Card 7th January 2019
CMAT Entrance Exam 2019 28th January 2019 (10:00 AM )
Result Declaration 10th February 2019

CMAT 2019 Registration

The registration process of CMAT 2019 examination will start from the 1st of November 2018. The candidates have to register for CMAT 2019 test through online mode. There are no offline forms available to register for CMAT examination. The last date to fill out and submit the online application form is 30th November 2018.



CMAT Admission Process 2019:

  1. Registration

The candidates have to register themselves in order to fill the online application form. The applicants have to apply as a ‘New User’ and after reading and accepting all the instructions carefully click the proceed button.

  1. Choice

Candidates have to select 3 cities of their preference for giving the entrance examination. Candidates are warned to select the cities wisely because after the application is processed further, changes in this section cannot be made.

  1. Documents

Upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature on the required format.

  1. Generation

A password will be generated after submitting and filling all the required fields. It will also be sent to your e-mail address.

  1. Payment

Payment can be made via both online and offline mode.

CMAT 2019 Application Fee

Application fees for CMAT 2019 can be paid through online as well as offline mode. Online through credit card or Debit card or through Net banking. You can also pay it offline through a cash payment made in SBI Bank.

General / OBC (Other Backward Classes) Rs. 1400 + Bank Charges

CMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for CMAT 2019 are given below:

  • Candidates should be a citizen of India.
  • There is no age restriction for the candidates appearing for CMAT 2019 examination
  • The applicant should have a  graduation degree in any field or an equivalent certification.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply.
  • Part-time graduation students can also apply for the entrance examination.

CMAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for CMAT 2019 Examination is given below:

  • The examination will be conducted through online mode. It will be a computer-based test(CBT).
  • The duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
  • 100 (MCQ) multiple choice questions will be asked.
  • The paper will be of 400 marks.
  • Questions about topics such as logical reasoning, quantitative technique, general awareness and language comprehension will be asked.
  • Each correct answer will reward you with 4 marks.
  • And each wrong answer will deduct 1 mark.

CMAT 2019 Syllabus

The syllabus for CMAT 2019 exam is distributed among four sections. All the questions will be asked from the four given sections. It is advisable for candidates to take up as much as possible mock tests to have a better hand on the subjects. It will also help the candidates to understand the type of questions and the paper pattern.

CMAT 2019 Admit Card

CMAT 2019 Admit card will be available from the first week of January 2019. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website. The candidates have to bring the admit card at the time of Examination with a valid photo ID proof.

The authority will also send the CMAT hall ticket 2019 in the candidate’s registered email ID apart from online mode.

CMAT 2019 Result

Results for CMAT 2019 examination will be available on the month of February 2019. It will be made available through a pdf format on the official website. The pdf will also serve as a merit list for the candidates who appeared for CMAT examination.

CMAT 2019 Score Card

Scorecard of CMAT exam for the year 2019 will be made available from the third week of February 2019. All the candidates whose names are there in the merit list can download their scorecard. The scorecard will be available only through online mode and the candidates have to download it through the official website. This scorecard will be valid only for 1 year.
